It is recommend that you do either " The worst pirate I’ve ever seen" or " The best pirate I’ve ever seen" during the 'Port Royal' level so that you will not need to complete the level an additional time. Do not worry about collecting anything - many items can only be accessed during free play. Play through the levels in story mode and enjoy the story.
Unlike the other games, in LEGO Pirates, the Red Bricks (called Red Hats) are found in the HUB World and there are eight hidden items in each mission that you need to find to earn a gold brick. Like the other LEGO games, this game will require that you complete the game twice, first in Story Mode and next in Free Play, where you unlock all the collectibles.
